Chocolate Banana Cake:
You will need;
175g Brown Sugar
3 Medium Sized Ripe Bananas
175g Self Raising Flour
2 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons Sunflower Oil
55ml Milk
110g Chocolate Chips
75g Walnuts, chopped (optional)
Method:
Grease a 20cm x 10cm loaf tin and preheat the oven to gas mark 5 (350 degrees).
Now mix the sugar and bananas together in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the flour, eggs, oil and milk, mixing well until everything is thoroughly combined. Stir in the walnuts and chocolate and pour in to the loaf tin.
Cook for approx, 50-60 mins and test by inserting a skewer into the middle to see if mixture has set. Once ready, remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Once cool remove from the loaf tin and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
